Fast and Easy Potty Training

Tips for fast and easy potty training. 

The schedule is your friend. Be as consistent as possible, even on weekends. 

Control the inputs to control the outputs. Feed your puppy a specific amount of food and water on a regular schedule. Be sure they're getting adequate amounts of both throughout the day, but don't allow free access to either. 

Use your crate. Pups don't like laying in poo any more than you do. A properly sized crate prevents accidents, while insuring your pup gets adequate sleep. 

Document your progress! make sure the family knows when pup ate, drank, pee'd and poo'd so they can manage the potty schedule accordingly. Get everyone on the literal same page with a white board, a log book or whatever you have. Knowing what happened last informs whomever takes over care about what to do next.
